I. Introduction

 

The SNHNT156-FY concrete powder layer grinding machine is a sampling and collection device designed and manufactured to meet the requirements for concrete sample preparation and powder collection in the "Durability Design Standard for Waterway Engineering Structures" (JTS153-2015). According to the requirements of Appendix "H.4 Immersion Depth Test - Thermal Decomposition Gas Chromatography" in the standard, the concrete sample is held by a four-jaw chuck, and the sides of the circular specimen are ground using flat grinding wheels and side wheels. Powder can be obtained from the core sample within 5mm of the edge, and the grinding range decreases with increasing depth. It also meets the powder collection requirements in "H.5 Chloride Absorption Reduction Effect Test" in the standard.

 

II. Main Performance Characteristics

 

Through years of research and development, a series of models of this powder layer grinding machine have been developed for different applications. This equipment can clamp and fix specimens of different specifications and shapes, and allows for vertical adjustment of the specimens. A multi-piece follow-up sealing mechanism constructs a sealed chamber, improving the working environment, significantly reducing noise, and eliminating dust pollution. Safety protection devices such as proximity switches ensure the safety of the grinder, while a rotating dial, scale, and pointer system ensure precise control of the grinding process. The motor, driven by a lead screw, can move forward, backward, left, and right, and is detached from the chamber. Powder samples are analyzed using gas chromatography to obtain various analyses of the concrete powder samples, plotting material distribution curves as a function of depth, and obtaining continuous spatial sequence images. Three-dimensional information of the concrete can be obtained through image analysis.

 

This equipment has two main functions: first, it can grind powder in layers along the depth of the specimen; second, it can grind the side concrete, meeting the requirements for concrete sampling and powder collection in the "Durability Design Standard for Waterway Engineering Structures (JTS153-2015)".

IV. Maintenance and Repair

 

1. After use, clean the residual dust on the worktable and wipe the grinding wheel feed table clean.

2. The working guide rails of the feed system should be checked frequently to prevent loosening, and lubricating oil should be added as specified at regular intervals.

3. The grinding wheels should be checked frequently to prevent loosening.

4. The motor must not be operated with a single phase missing, otherwise the motor will be damaged.

5. Grinding wheels and edge grinding wheels are consumables; they should be replaced promptly when worn.

6. As the equipment ages, replace any faulty parts in a timely manner.

7. The cables should be checked regularly; if any damage is found, they should be repaired or replaced immediately.
