Our Company Supplies Engineering Testing Equipment to Kazakhstan’s East–West / South–West Road Corridor Project

2025-04-08

Recently, our company successfully delivered a full range of road engineering testing and inspection equipment for Kazakhstan’s East–West / South–West Road Corridor Modernization Project. The equipment has now arrived at multiple construction sections and has been put into operation, providing vital technical support for quality control and road upgrading efforts across the region. This marks another significant milestone for our company in the Central Asian infrastructure market.

The East–West / South–West Corridor Project is one of Kazakhstan’s most important national transportation programs. The project officially launched in 2024 and is scheduled to continue through 2029. Its objective is to enhance cross-regional connectivity, upgrade strategic transport routes along the China–Europe corridor, and strengthen Kazakhstan’s position as a logistics hub within the Eurasian transport network. The project includes road widening, pavement reconstruction, bridge and culvert rehabilitation, as well as performance-based long-term maintenance. These requirements place high demands on the precision, stability, and durability of engineering testing equipment.

To support the project, our company supplied a series of high-performance instruments, including:

  • Pavement structural evaluation equipment (FWD, road profilometers)

  • Asphalt and mixture laboratory instruments (Marshall testers, gyratory compactors, UTM)

  • Geotechnical and subgrade testing equipment (triaxial systems, CBR machines, nuclear density gauges, etc.)

  • Bridge and concrete quality assessment tools (rebound hammers, ultrasonic testing devices)

To meet the stringent international bidding and project requirements, we provided complete English and Russian technical documentation, ISO-certified quality assurance, calibration certificates, on-site training, and after-sales support plans, all of which received strong recognition from the project management and supervision teams.

“Our equipment must operate reliably in Kazakhstan’s challenging field conditions—high temperatures, sandstorms, and saline soils,” said the project delivery manager. “We developed tailored technical solutions to ensure long-term performance and stability. This not only improves construction efficiency but also highlights the growing global reputation of Chinese engineering equipment.”

This successful delivery strengthens our company’s presence in Central Asia and further demonstrates the competitiveness of Chinese engineering technologies in major international infrastructure projects. Looking ahead, we will continue contributing to overseas transportation development and providing high-quality, reliable testing equipment and technical solutions to countries along the Belt and Road.
